How long has it been since you adapted to something new? How long does it take to get used to something new? Fernando Rivera can assure you that they know how to do it. They offer enrichment classes that provide a wide variety of opportunities to learn new skills, abilities, activities, and much more! However, students can only stay for about half of the school year before they have to switch to a whole new environment via enrichment. But some are fortunate enough to stay there for the entire year.
To gauge students’ reactions to the switch, the FRS Times staff asked various students a variety of questions to obtain input.
Many students were interviewed for this, such as Jaxxon Ventura, Alex Cui, and Alyiah Dela Rosa.
How do you feel about switching your enrichment?
JV: I like it cause I didn’t like my last enrichment. It was not good
AC: It feels great because I get to experience different enrichments. Last semester, I was pre-engineering, so then I switched to library to experience different enrichments.
ADR: I feel happy because badminton is very fun.
Do you prefer your last enrichment or your new one?
JV: I prefer my new one. I like Legos a lot like cause they taste good, I like the green ones.
AC: I feel like I prefer this new one because for a library, I get to do my work. I catch up on homework if I don’t do it.
ADR: I prefer my new one because my last one was very boring and this one’s very fun.
How does this new enrichment differ from your old one?
JV: Um, my first one you would just sing Sabrina Carpenter Bruno Mars, which is getting boring. So I wanted to switch my enrichment because I don’t really like singing Sabrina Carpenter. That’s our music
AC: It’s different because you get to hang out with friends, do work, and play games, but then my old pre-engineering enrichment, I had to learn about circuits and how electricity works.
ADR: It’s different because we do different things and my enrichment now is like a sport, badminton, so it’s different!
